Is this safe for sensitive skin?
Every skin is different, so we can't promise it suits everyone. Active Eye Cream is retinol-free, paraben-free and talc-free, and its full ingredient list is just above. It contains plant oils, including sweet almond oil, so skip it if you have a nut allergy. Before first use, patch test a small amount on your inner arm and wait 24 hours. Avoid direct contact with the eyes, and stop using it if irritation occurs.
Why doesn't this contain retinol?
Retinol can feel too strong for some people, especially on the thin, delicate skin around the eyes. Active Eye Cream is made without it. Instead, it relies on hyaluronic acid (sodium hyaluronate), niacinamide, a vitamin C derivative (3-O-ethyl ascorbic acid) and nourishing plant oils and butters such as avocado, olive, mango and shea — so you can use it every day, morning or night.
How long until I see results?
You'll feel the hydration as soon as you apply it. Changes in how the eye area looks take longer and depend on your skin, so give it at least four weeks of consistent, daily use before you judge. Results vary from person to person, and we don't promise overnight changes.
Can I use this with other skincare products?
Yes. Apply it after cleansing (and after your serum, if you use one), then follow with moisturizer, and sunscreen during the day. It layers well under makeup. If you use strong actives on your face, such as retinoids or exfoliating acids, keep them away from the eye area. Using it with Age Defying Serum?
